Bears Town Ski Resort
Bears Town is a ski Resort located near the city. It takes less than an hour from Seoul. During the winter season, you can enjoy night skiing under the bright lights. Beginners can safely enjoy skiing since an official beginners' slope called Little Bear is provided. Slopes are open to snowboarders and 400 m sledding hill is available for families to enjoy.
-Take Bus No. 707 in front of Cheongnyangni train Station, and get off at Gwangneungnae. Take another bus for Ildong or taxi to at Bears Town Ski Resort.
-Take the Ildong Bus at Sangbong Terminal, and get off at Naechon, Walk for 20 minutes or take a taxi for 5 minutes to Bears Town Ski Resort.
-From Gyeonggi-do Uijeongbu bus terminal take a city bus No.21 bound for Gwangneung,after getting off at Gwangneung city take a taxi or city bus for Ildong.
-At the stop across the Uijeongbu station take a bus No. 33 for naechon,then take a taxi (2km )
-Take Sangbong express bus bound for Ildong( 10 min interval), at naechon take Taxi(5min)or walk for 20min.

Cheonmasan Ski Resort
Cheonmasan Ski Resort is a place to enjoy Skiing as well as relaxing with no burdens at all due to its closeness to Seoul. It is open throughout the year. The best merit of cheonmasan Ski Resort is its 2 artificial slopes which is 700m and 1,300m long each, providing the visitors with facilities to be used all around the year.

Daemyung Vivaldi Park
Daemyung Vivaldi Park is located Mt.Maebong san, 651 meters above sea level. Vivaldi Ski Resort has 13 slopes, and 10 lifts, including gondolas. You can ride snowboards at most of the courses. Of the 13 slopes, 2 are advanced , 7 are intermediate, and 2 are beginner. The two beginner slopes allow those of us who are learning to Ski for the first time to relax and enjoy the experience.

Hyundai Sungwoo Resort
Hyundai sungwoo Resort has a condominium, youth hostel, and other accommodation facilities. Its a leisure town close to the city, only an hour and a half away from Seoul if you take the Yeongdong Highway. It is equipped with a variety of ski trails to fit the different levels of skiers, and it also boasts of having the first 8-person gondolas imported into Korea, as well as courses dedicated to snowboarding.

Muju Ski Resort
As a recreation area opened in 1990 in Mt. Deokyusan National Park, the Muju Ski Resort is an area of leisure and recreation with ski hills and winter sports facilities. There are 23 slopes with ski jumps and Nordic courses. The Silk Road, is the longest run nationwide with length of 6.2km, and the level of difficulty is just right for beginners and intermediate. The steepest course within Korea, the Raider Course is located at the peak. Muji Resort also hosted 1997 Winter Universiad.
The skiing is the most well-known facility of Muju Resort but other facilities are beloved by visitors. In May of 1998, an 18 hole golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. There are other facilities such as Kids Land, Water Park, and hotels and condominiums. Others include the Convention Center, Western Medicine Sanitarium, and fitness center. Nearby, is Mt. Deokyusan National Park and other tourist sites such as Gucheon-dong Tourism Site, Jeoksangsanseong. Fortress and Anhuksa and Hoguksa Temple.

Phoenix Park(SKI Resort)
Phoenix Park presently has 13 skiing courses with unique slopes for the enjoyment of dynamic and exciting experiences. It operates a Snowboard Park with quality snow facilities for snow boarders. It is equipped with the first gondola lift in the nation, as well as the Key lift system, which enables the skier to make the choice among the beginner, intermediate, and the expert course. Many soap operas have been shot at Phoenix Park due to its beautiful scenery. Ever since Koreas most popular drama, Autumn Story, was shot here, Phoenix Park has been booming with customers.
Take a bus that heads to Jangpyeong at the Dong-Seoul Express Bus Terminal when coming to Phoenix Park from Seoul. Get off at the Jangpyeong Express Bus Terminal and take the free shuttle bus that goes to Phoenix Resort. The shuttle runs every two hours from 9:00 ~ 21:00.

Seoul Ski Resort, the closest ski Resort from Seoul, is the most adequate place to ski for one day. It has 4 slopes and 4 lifts, built upon Mt. Baekbongsan snow which is well known for heavy snow falls. The slopes also provide appropriate conditions to skiers of all levels.

YoungPyong Ski Resort
As the oldest ski Resort, Yongpyong Resort with its yearly average temperature of 6.2 degrees Celsius maintains a long ski season with a lot of natural snow. Moreover, it is getting numerous compliments from skiers about its convenient facilities as a superior ski Resort.
The Rainbow Course extends from the peak to the base, which is about 5 km. As the longest course, it is available to skiers of all levels. The level of difficulty varies among each course but Yongpyong makes it easy to switch from course to course while skiing down. A 3,742m long Gondola carrying 8 people is operated from the Ski House to the 1,438m peak, which is the Rainbow Course. On clear days, the East Sea and the whole Mt. Odaesan come into view from here. The scenery is truly the pride of Yongpyong and it deeply impresses its visitors.

Yanji Pine Ski Resort is a Resort town 40 minutes away from Seoul. There are slopes ,Varying in steepness , which satisfies both the beginners and experts. The yellow Course maintains a steady slope, and is just right for beginners. There is a free shuttle bus that goes directly to Yangji Pine Resort from Seoul. Sajo Ski Resort has 7 slopes of different levels, as well as 4 lifts and a rental shop which rents out over 40 sets of ski equipment. There are ski education schools in which ski instructors teach techniques for all levels. Sajo Ski Resort includes a family hotel as well as a youth hostel for convenience.
Sajo Ski Resort is situated within the Suanbo Tourism Area, which is a large-scale tourism zone where transportation is convenient from cities and has a hot spring that can be used all year round. Jisan Forest Ski Resort
Jisan Forest Resort, which is 40 minutes from Seoul, is made with a full-line European style which comes smoothly down the mountain. The merit of a ski Resort which faces north is that it can easily maintain the quality of snow, as well as its new snow removal machine and management systems. Jisan Resort can avoid many of the difficulties of weather problems as well as being able to maintain the best quality of snow. Especially, it has completely opened up its slopes to snow boarders for the first time ever within the vicinity of Seoul. ALPS Ski Resort
Alps Ski Resort is located on the plateau of Jinburyeong, a region with the heaviest and longest snowfalls. Koreas one and only Ski Museum is located within the Resort, which exhibits the entire history of skiing. There are 8 slopes and 5 lift lines in total. Snowboards are also available for the users enjoyment. Alps Resort provides you with a ski Resort, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley, sled range facilities during the winter as well as golf courses, golf range, and grass sled range, survival game and rafting during the summer.
