Yongsan International School of Seoul (YISS) offers strong, well-rounded academic and extracurricular program for kindergarten (age 5) through grade 12 students (age 18). The school has 880 students representing more than 48 countries, which contribute to the school's rich cultural diversity. YISS was founded in August 1990 as International Christian School of Seoul and was renamed YISS when it relocated to the new school facility built by the Korea Foreign Schools Foundation in Hannam-dong in 2006.

Eligibility

Applicants to Yongsan International School of Seoul must be either (1) a child of foreign nationals residing in Korea (either parent being a foreign national) or (2) a Korean who has lived overseas for a minimum of three years. Students with dual citizenship and foreign residency are also eligible for admission, provided they meet the above two requirements.
